Blake Shaw
is a senior partner with the Change and Innovation Agency, a firm dedicated to helping its clients radically improve performance. Blake has rich experience using state-of-the art voice of the customer techniques. He has conducted hundreds of customer focus groups, speaking with thousands of people and using their input to drive radical improvements for the organizations he assists.

As a performance improvement consultant for Missouri state government, Blake was a key part of the team leading the Governor’s managing for results initiative. Blake has extensive experience leading customer satisfaction, process improvement, problem solving and strategic planning projects and helping organizations create performance measurement and leadership systems. Blake has led teams from transportation departments to social service departments that have:

  • identified millions of dollars in savings within state government
  • identified and eliminated thousands of work hours within state government
  • improved the quality of work life for mental health direct care workers
  • significantly reduced mandatory overtime and overall overtime in 24/7 facilities
  • improved timeliness and accuracy of major project delivery

Prior to his consulting work, Blake held numerous positions in marketing and public relations.

Blake works in Jefferson City, Missouri where he lives with his lovely wife Jennifer and their two children Jacob and Abby. For fun, he is a bad influence on Ken Miller’s golf habit, likes numerous outdoor sports, and plays drums in his church.
